Shannon Sovndal, M.D.
Dr. Sovndal attended medical school at Columbia in New York City, and completed his residency at Stanford University. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the American College of Emergency Medicine. He is the Team Physician for the Garmin–Slipstream Professional Cycling Team, and works at the General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) for the University of Colorado.

Allen Lim, Ph.D.
Allen received his Ph.D. in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado at Boulder. In addition to working at Thrive HFM, he also works for the Garmin-Slipstream Professional Cycling Team as Team Physiologist. Allen's coaching experience is extensive, having worked with many of the top cyclists in the world. He continues to be at the forefront of sports physiology and is actively involved in performance research.

Christian Vande Velde
Christian Vande Velde is a seasoned professional cyclist and Olympian. His professional career started with the US Postal Service in 1998 where he helped Lance Armstrong win his first Tour de France. In 2008 he took 5th overall in the Tour de France, won the Tour of Missouri, and continually performs at the sharp end of the professional peloton.

Owen Murphy, M.S.
Owen earned his Master's degree in Exercise Science from Montana State University, Bozeman and his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Chico. His academic concentrations included endurance cycling performance and sports biomechanics. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 1997 and an Expert-Level coach with USA Cycling since 2000. He currently teaches nutrition for health and performance at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
